Big Sur International Marathon

Every April, Monterey Kiwanis are honored and excited to work at the finish line of the Big Sur International Marathon, helping with crowd management. As runners finish the race, we gently encourage them to move on to the refreshment tent in order to make space for the runners behind them. We congratulate runners, we take their pictures with their phones, and we keep the finish-line area functioning. In the fall, we help in the Expo Hall set up at the Monterey Conference Center for the half marathon.
