2024 Scholarship

The Kiwanis Club of Monterey is proud to offer an annual four-year college scholarship! This scholarship has been a club tradition for more than 30 years and is currently set at $12,000. All previous scholarship recipients have been students who performed well academically, demonstrated financial need, and had a proven track record of service to their community. The deadline for submitting applications this year is May 1.

Eligibility

The scholarship is awarded to a graduating high school senior for pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, either by directly enrolling at a four-year institution or by  attending a community college and then transferring to a four-year institution. • Community involvement
  • Financial need
  • Potential for growth

The most promising candidates will be interviewed before a final decision is reached. The interviews are required and will occur in mid-May.
