Beth Penney, a longtime MPC English teacher (retired) and lifelong Dickens enthusiast, will speak about the activities of the Peninsula Dickens Fellowship and the annual Dickens Universe, a week-long conference at U.C. Santa Cruz focusing on the works of Charles Dickens.
Gather at 11:30 to order meals and chat.
Meeting and program start at 12 noon and conclude by 1:00 p.m.
