As we have done for several years, the Monterey Kiwanis will work at the Big Sur International Marathon, making sure that runners keep on moving after they pass through the finish line in order to keep space open for the runners finishing behind them. It's a fun assignment that involves a long morning of standing and a willingness to encourage people to keep moving. John Swenseid is our coordinator for this fundraiser.
