Executive Director Gilda Gonzales will tell us how the work of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Monterey County enriches the lives of children and youth facing incredibly difficult circumstances navigating the foster care and juvenile justice systems. During this presentation you will hear about CASA’s work and opportunities for Club members to support this effort, including the critical need for community members to serve as advocates for our most vulnerable children and youth. Currently, there are 40+ young people waiting for an advocate in our County, and each day they do not have one is a day lost in providing valuable guidance and support to them.
